Zoya Fall Ultra Pixiedusts-Swatches, Review, and Video

 *Press Samples
Happy Friday polish peeps.  I had my scan this morning for my gallbladder where I had to eat a bunch of almonds for the fat since I couldn't drink the milk mixture and I also watched The Princess Diaries.  It was interesting haha!  But now I'm at home snuggled on the couch for the rest of the day so that's definitely a win :)

Today I have a new collection from Zoya to share with you.  I'm not a huge texture fan or red polish fan so I wasn't sure how I would feel about these, I guess you'll see below!  Also of note, Zoya recommends no base or topcoat with these polishes.

Oswin-true red with crimson glitters

Oswin is a true red warm-toned polish and it took me about a second to fall in love with this one for one very specific reason.  I have been in love with The Wizard of Oz since I was very little and this polish is Dorothy's ruby red slippers in a bottle...and I love it.  The formula was smooth and easy to apply, even with the more chunky texture.  Swatches are two coats.

Arianna-blue-toned red wine

Arianna is a cooler-toned red and it's my third choice of the group, I just prefer the other two colors.  It's a wine cranberry color and it does dry down to have a bit of a sheen to it, unlike Oswin that dried down to a matte finish.  Again, no problems with formula or application, it was smooth and easy to apply.  Two coats below.

Noir-vampy plum with red glitter

Noir is the most interesting of the three because it has a dark base and lighter glitter particles.  It also dries down with a sheen like Arianna but again it had a good formula and was easy to apply.  Two coats below.

Overall I was surprised by this collection because I didn't really expect to like them very much, just based on my normal polish preferences.  Obviously Oswin is my favorite for nostalgia reasons but Noir is the most unique of the bunch.  Leave me a comment down below with your favorite.

*Polishes in this post were sent for review in exchange for my honest opinion.

  2. I'm deeply in love with the colours of all the three of them, but I would have preferred them to be ordinary Pixie Dust...I don't think I could get on well with those big glitters :-s
